View Funeral Webcast Willie Paul Roland, son of the late Muriel Roland and Pearline Hammond Roland, was born on Thursday, July 4, 1957 in Kennett and departed this life on Friday, May 7, 2021 in Springfield, MO at the age of 63 years, 10 months and 3 days. Willie Paul Roland was a very passionate, respectful hard working man who worked majority of his life in farming. He had a special love for dogs and "LOVED" his family dearly. He is survived by six children, Paula Payne of McKinney, TX, Christopher Moore of Kennett, Jennifer Moore of Sikeston, MO, Eric Moore of Sikeston, MO, Daniel Moore of Sikeston, MO, Taylor Spitz of Indiana and Annie Lee Paris Godino-Roland of Springfield, Missouri. He is also survived by one brother, Carl (Bessie) Roland of Kennett; six sisters, Louteilla (Jethro) McKinney of Kennett, MO, Murline (Willie) Seals of Kennett, MO, Linda Pulliam of Kennett, Carolyn Austin of Kansas City, MO, Irene (Willie) Conner of Atchison, Kansas and Mozella Roland of Kennett; 19 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death his parents; two brothers, Robert & Ernie Hammons; two sisters, Annie Lee Roland-Brown & Ida Mae Roland; one son, Jimmy Lee Timothy and three grandsons, Timothy Winston, Jr., Christian Moore and Daniel Moore, Jr. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
