William Carlile Wafford

William Carlile Wafford, son of the late Elmer Carlile Wafford and Ruth Maxine Adams Wafford, was born on Monday, June 4, 1956, in Flint, Michigan and departed this life on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at his residence in Kennett at the age of 67 years 3 months 8 days. William Carlile Wafford was a retired maintenance technician and a United States Army veteran. On June 3, 1994, in Paragould, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Pamela Mitchell. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Mitchell Wafford of Kennett; daughter, Shaylynne Keiser & husband, Danny of Colorado Springs, Colorado; granddaughter, Lela Reigh Keiser of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brothers, James "Jimmy" Wafford of Alabama and Elmer "Noel" Wafford of Kennett; sister, Patsy Cantrel of Illinois, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Paul Cantrel. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Gregory Cemetery in Kennett with Brother Terry Vaughn officiating. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
