Violet Jacqueline Christian

Violet Jacqueline Christian, daughter of the late Floyd Cooper Jones, Sr. and Azalee Biggs Jones, was born on Sunday, January 24, 1937, in Steele and departed this life on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at StoneBridge Pocahontas at the age of 86 years 9 months 19 days. Survivors include a son, Scott Christian of Maynard, AR; grandchildren, Emily & Jacob Christian, both of St. Paul, MN; brothers, Larry Jones of Steele, Mervel Jones of Hornersville, Phillip Jones; sister, Charlotte Bounds of Poplar Bluff, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jerry Douglas Christian, brothers, Floyd Cooper Jones, Jr., James Jones & a sister, Alice Joy Harrison Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with Steve Bounds officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
