Travis Orel Davis, son of the late Orel Davis and Sylvia Rosenbaum Davis, was born on Friday, July 14, 1933 in Senath, MO and departed this life on Monday, April 27, 2020 at his residence in Kennett at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 13 days. He was united in marriage to Shirley Chailland on November 22, 1956 in Cardwell, MO. He was a retired employee of General Motors, St. Louis, Owner of Travis O. Davis Firearms, Inc. and a member of the Slicer Street Church of Christ, Kennett. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Davis; son, Stephen Davis & his wife, Kassandra Green of Madison, TN; nephews, Rick Knight of Nashville, TN, George Davis of Cape Girardeau, Greg Chailland of St. Louis; nieces, Kim Davis of Poplar Bluff, Vicki Kay Shropshire of Eddyville, KY; other relatives and many friends. Graveside Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2020, at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Kennett with Mr. Spencer Furby officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choice. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
