Tori Miller Crucani

Tori Miller Crucani, daughter of Kathy Boatwright Miller & the late Shirley Dewayne Miller, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, May 28, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on Friday, June 4, 1976, in Hayti, Missouri, Tori lived a life marked by dedication not only to her family but also to the community she served so faithfully.

A graduate of North Pemiscot Senior High School, Tori’s commitment to education was evident early on. She furthered her studies at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff and proudly earned her degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 2014. Her passion for education led her to teach elementary school at North Pemiscot Elementary School. Later, she extended her compassion and care through her work as a social worker with NHC of Kennett, where she found profound fulfillment assisting the elderly residents.

Tori was known for her warm and complimentary nature, always ready with kind words for everyone she encountered. Among all her passions, she was deeply devoted to her family, especially her beloved son, Charlie. At home in Kennett, Missouri, she was surrounded by the love of her husband Damon and son Charlie. Tori’s gentle spirit also shone through in her tender care for animals, with a particular affection for her cats.

In addition to her family and professional life, Tori found joy and peace in her garden. Blessed with a green thumb, she lovingly tended to her flowers and plants.

Tori is survived by her husband, Damon Crucani, and their son, Charlie, both of Kennett, Missouri; her mother, Kathy Miller of Portageville, Missouri; her brother, Kevin Miller, and his wife Mary, also of Portageville; her father and mother-in-law, Joey and Debra Crucani of Kennett, Missouri; and her nieces, Kelsi Jones and her husband Tyler, along with Avery Miller, all residing in Portageville, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her father, Shirley Dewayne Miller.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Steven Scherer officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until time of service. Burial will be in the Portageville Cemetery in Portageville.
