Tisha Ann Hyde

Tisha Ann (Brown) Hyde, 45, of Kennett, Mo passed away on Saturday, June 14th at NHC Healthcare in Kennett, Mo. Tisha was born on July 7th, 1979 in Kennett, MO, the daughter of Steve and Lisa Brown. She graduated from Kennett High School in May of 1998. She dedicated her life to health and childcare, taking on the role of nursery caretaker for First Christian Church of Kennett, MO, where she later served as Deacon, as well as the personal caretaker for John and Michelle McMullen’s children; Abigail, Marie and Ben. Afterwards, she worked in various healthcare positions, with clients ranging from the very young to the elderly, with the most recent position being that of an in-home healthcare worker for HoneyHill Homecare in Murfreesboro, TN. Tisha didn’t have the easiest life as a child or as an adult. Being diagnosed with a serious heart condition at birth, which led to further complication and then eventually her death. Yet, despite it all, Tisha possessed a sense of compassion and understanding that far surpassed those around her. A God-fearing woman with so much love in her heart that shined like the brightest of stars even on the darkest of days. A terrific wife, daughter, niece, cousin and friend. But most of all a wonderful human being who will be so dearly missed. She married Christopher Floyd Hyde on January 15th, 2010, in Tacoma, WA. Tisha is survived by her husband, grandmother Janet Archer, aunts Gail Tucker (Tommy Cook) of Kennett, MO, Bobbie Young (Tim Young) of Kennett, MO and Deronda Clay (Terry Clay) of Hartsville, SC, Diane Brown (Vernon Brown) of Du Quoin, IL; cousins Adam Tucker, Emily Brown, Kasey Smith, Kimzey Cromwell, Chelsea Springs, Jessica Rivers, Colby Newell, Whitley Newell, Donna Lemons, Kim Thompson, Crystal Brown; uncle, Jerry Stubblefield (Tracie) of Kennett; several small cousins and several nieces and nephews through marriage; mother-in-law Brenda Hyde (Glen Hyde), sister-in-law Charlotte Johnson (James Johnson) and her dear canine fur-baby Benji. She is preceded in death by her parents; her aunt Tina Diffee, grandfather Drue Archer, grandmother Imogene Dye, great-grandmother Oma-Lee Ginn, and her brother-in-law Michael Scott Hony. A gathering of family and friends will be held for Tisha on Friday, June 20th at Powell Funeral Home in Kennett, Mo with visitation from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and service from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, across the street from Powell Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Terryl Almond. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
