Tarry Lynn Barton

Tarry Lynn Barton, daughter of Kenneth Patton and the late Linda Avants Patton, was born on Friday, September 21, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at her residence at the age of 62 years 6 months 29 days. Tarry was a homemaker. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Barton of their home in Kennett; father, Kenneth Patton of Kennett; daughter, Misty Barton & her companion, Chris Cathey; two brothers, Mike Patton of Kennett, Gary Patton of Benton, MO; five sisters, Brenda Hightower, Teresa Patton, Lisa Haynes, Paula Patton, Donnita Patton, all of Kennett; three grandchildren, Christian Barton & his companion, Destiny Williams, Landon Barton, Chandler Barton, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend David Allen officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Flood, Carson Blansett, Gary Patton, Charles Patton, Brandon Hightower (Buckwheat), & Skyler Patton. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
