On Sunday, March 3, 2024, Susan Kay (White) Kelley, aged 63, passed away peacefully at her home in Kennett, Missouri. She was born on June 16, 1960, in Cardwell, Missouri. to James Albert and Edith Alene (Rice) White. Susan's favorite hobby was listening to YouTube music videos and texting with her children and grandchildren. She loved visiting thrift stores, yard sales, and flea markets, looking for that one item that sparked joy. She was known for her quick wit, snappy comebacks, and caring nature, despite her flaws. Susan was preceded in death by her father, Albert, her mother, Alene, and grandson, Elijah Dunigan. She is survived by her son, Travis Maxwell of Kennett; daughter, LaVonda (Rodney) Evans of Jonesboro, AR; brother, Roger Dale White of Cardwell, Missouri; 7 grandchildren, Kristopher Bradley of Paragould; Kasidy Newbern, Kody, Kanon, & Kelley Evans, all of Jonesboro; and Hailey and Alex Dunigan of Paragould; and two great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Elijah. Ashes will rest at the graveside service held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cardwell Cemetery, where Susan will be reunited with her mother.
