Stephen Nicholas

Stephen Nicholas, son of the late Samuel Otis Nicholas and Florence Gordan Nicholas, was born on Wednesday, October 30, 1946 in Little Rock, Arkansas and departed this life on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 8 days. He was a member of the Living Water Baptist Church in Kennett. Survivors include son, Stephen Nicholas; grandsons, Ethan and Eli Nicholas; long-time companion, Becky Keys of Kennett; brothers, Bob Nicholas of Florida, Ben Nicolas of Benton, Arkansas; sisters, Donna Brady of Bismarck, Arkansas, Sue Mitcham of Cookeville, TN, Debra Hefner of Pearcy, Arkansas; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Aaron Nichols, three sisters and a brother. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at Living Water Baptist Church, 19677 Highway 25, Kennett with Reverend Jerry Smallmon officiating. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
