Sidney "Goose" Denham, Jr.

Sidney Denham, Jr., affectionately known as “Goose” was born September 9, 1948 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Sidney Sr, and Ethel Mae Denham. Sidney was a Marine Veteran, hardworking man, loving husband, grandfather, dad, and brother. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the LA Lakers.

He leaves behind his wife of 58 years Vivian Denham, his sons; Renaldo (Melissa) Denham of Kennett, Calwan (Michelle) Hawkins of Indianapolis, daughter; Guendolyn Denham of Kansas City, brothers; Donald Ray (Donna) Denham of Memphis, Terry Demhan of Baton Rouge, Gary Denham and Kevin Denham both of Colorado Springs, Robert Clark of Kansas City, sisters; Carolyn Denham of Baton Rouge, Tonie (Nelson) Tyler of San Antonio, a host of grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Sidney Sr and Ethel Mae Denham, step-mother, Lille Denham, sister, Patrica Ann Denham, brothers; Larry Denham, Walter Davis, grandparents; James and Bertha George, and great grandson, ZaMarion Taylor.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 30, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.
