Shirley Jane Morris

Shirley Jane Morris, daughter of the late Johnnie McGee and Zora Petty McGee, was born on Sunday, July 10, 1938, in Kennett and departed this life on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at her residence in Kennett at the age of 86 years 5 months 26 days. Survivors include a son, John Morris & his wife, Renee of Holcomb; a daughter, Vicki Gozell & her husband, Mike of Kennett, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John William Morris, two brothers and three sisters. Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
