Shawn Jason Utley, son of Thomas Utley and the late Jo Ann Estes Utley, was born on Thursday, October 17, 1985, in Poplar Bluff and departed this life on Monday, May 1, 2023, at the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis at the age of 37 years, 6 months and 15 days. Survivors include his children, Alison & Jason Utley of Hoxie, AR; his father, Thomas Utley of Kennett; sister, April Brown & her husband, Michael of Kennett; aunts and uncles, William & Margie Utley of Blytheville, Matt Estes of Kennett, Vernon Estes of South Carolina, Virginia Childress of Campbell; nieces, Haley Jackson of Kennett, Felicia Dawn of Jackson, TN, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Ann Utley. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
