Shane Ellis, son of the late Daniel Ellis and Anna Hopkins Ellis, was born on Friday, January 3, 1969, in Winter Haven, Florida and departed this life on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at his residence in Kennett at the age of 56 years 5 months 25 days. Shane's survivors include a daughter, Cheyanna Johnson & Lexi of Poplar Bluff, MO; brother, Alexander Ellis & wife, Sue of St. Charles, IL; sister, Angel Crawford & husband, Jason of Kennett; nephews, Tyler Crawford of Kennett, Shawn Crawford & wife, Katelynn of Paragould, AR; best friend, Clifford McRill of Kennett, many great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel & Anna Ellis and a son, Christopher Ellis. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Gregory Cemetery in Kennett. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Burial to follow after the service.
