Shalayne Godair Taylor, daughter of Barbara Casteel Godair and the late Michael Godair, was born Sunday, May 10, 1981, in Granite City, IL and departed this life on Monday, July 3, 2023, in Kennett at the age of 42 years, 1 month and 24 days. Survivors include sons, Jaron Godair of Blytheville and Evan Johnson of Dardanelle, AR; daughter, Shayna Godair of Blytheville; 2 grandchildren; mother, Barbara Casteel Godair of Blytheville, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Godair and her brother, Michael Godair, II. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
