Sandra Sue "Sandy" DeLisle, daughter of the late Albert Freeland and Velma Hayes Freeland, was born on Thursday, December 14, 1944 in Portageville and departed this life on Friday, September 17, 2021 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 76 years, 9 months and 3 days. Sandra Sue "Sandy" DeLisle was an LPN with the Dunklin County Health Department having retired after 30 years of service. She was a member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Kennett. On July 20, 1974 in Bertrand, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Edward DeLisle. Survivors include her husband, Ed DeLisle of the home in Kennett; daughter, Lisa Russom of Kennett; grandchildren, Ethan Russom of Little Rock, AR, Logan Russom of Marmaduke, AR, Emily Russom of Kennett; brothers, Dean Freeland of Forestburg, TX, Larry Freeland of Cullman, AL; sisters, Barbara Durborou of St. Peters, MO, Debbie Barbush of Mount Joy, PA; other relatives and many friends. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Kennett. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Burial will be in the Portageville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith Westerfield, Brian Shelton, Paul Sheckell, Dennis Rainey, Perry Gooch, Randell Crawford. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Kennett, American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
