Samuel Spencer, son of the late Samuel Spencer and Lindora Cowell Spencer, was born on Sunday, July 8, 1962, in Chicago, IL and departed this life on Monday, August 12, 2024, at his residence in Qulin, MO at the age of 62 years 1 month 4 days. Samuel Spencer was a truck driver and a roofer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. On July 12, 1987, in Greenville, South Carolina he was united in marriage to Shelly Elaine Winters. Survivors include his wife, Shelly Elaine Spencer of their home in Qulin; two sons, Samuel Spencer, III & his wife, Pamela of Mill Springs, MO, Danny Spencer & his wife, Jamie of Wisconsin; two daughters, Ivory Spencer of Wisconsin, Paige Spencer of Qulin; two brothers, Leon Spencer & Ikie Spencer, both of Kentucky; two sisters, Elva Sedlock of Illinois, Renee Neace of Kentucky, 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Alonzo. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at The Lions Club in Qulin, MO.
