Rose Morgan Till

Rose Morgan Till, daughter of the late William H. Payne and Julie Henson Payne, was born Wednesday, November 12, 1924, in Melbourne, AR and departed this life Friday, December 31, 2021, at St. Francis Park Assisted Living in Kennett at the age of 97 years, 1 month and 19 days. Rose Morgan Till had worked at the hospital for 28 years in the Respiratory Therapy Department. She was a member of the Eastern Star Madonna chapter of Clarkton, a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in Gideon but also attended the Methodist church. On October 12, 1940, in Gideon, MO she was united in marriage to Eugene Morgan. He preceded her in death on September 14, 1984. Later, she married Cecil Till, on March 30, 1987. He preceded her in death on November 7, 1991. Survivors include sons, Lannie Morgan & his wife, Sue of Kennett, Ronnie Morgan & his wife, Carol of Kennett, Dr. Ben Till & his wife, Robin of Poplar Bluff; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin there on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
