Ronnie Lee Crawford

View Funeral Webcast Ronnie Lee Crawford, son of the late Everett Crawford and Mattie DeWitt Crawford, was born on Wednesday, December 29, 1943, in Kennett and departed this life on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott at the age of 78 years, 9 months and 17 days. On February 10, 1967, in Clarkton, MO, he was united in marriage to Jonell Spears. She preceded him in death on April 23, 2019. Ronnie retired from MoDOT after almost 40 years of service. He was a member of the Kennett Masonic Lodge #68, served as Past Master during 1975-1976, was a 32nd degree Scottish rite, and was a Shriner. Survivors include a daughter, Ronda Crawford of Jackson, TN; a son, Keith Crawford & his wife, Chrystal of West Hills, CA; two grandchildren, Ruby & Cora Crawford; brothers, Don & Bob Crawford, both of Kennett, Larry Crawford of Boonville, MO; sister, Shelby Bugg of Olive Branch, MS; grand-godson, Caydan Harrison; special friends, Ronnie & Carol Morgan of Kennett, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jonell Spears Crawford, his parents, Everett & Mattie Crawford and a brother, Jerry Crawford. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Jim Pemberton officiating. Visitation will begin there at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Pallbearers will be Jeff Morgan, Joey Presley, Steven Hicks, Brian Holt, Chris Sledge, Caleb Brown. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
