Ronald Edward Collier, son of the late Grady Collier and Sybil Nunnery Collier, was born on Sunday, November 9, 1952, in Parma, MO and departed this life on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 72 years 2 months 14 days. Ronald Edward Collier, a resident of Senath, was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and member of the River of Life Apostolic Bible Church of Paragould. On April 16, 2006, in Kennett he was united in marriage to Shirley Gambling. She survives of their home in Senath. Other survivors include four sons, Christopher Parr of Texas, Mike Jordan & wife, Mandy of Campbell, Chris Jordan of Campbell, Bob Stark & wife, Pam of Oran; three daughters, Ulanda Kay Shuffit & husband, Joseph of Dexter, April Motes & husband, Duane of Senath, Lori Hamby & husband, Billy of Octa; brother, Alan (AC) Collier of Tahlequah, OK; sisters, Linda Snider of Sun Lakes, AZ, Dianne Peterson of Jacksonville, AR; 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 7 nephews, 9 nieces, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady & Sybil Collier, grandson, Blake Jordan, three brothers, Gary Collier, Steve (Doc) Collier and Keith (Bubba) Collier and three sisters, Carolyn Collier, Wanda Onderdonk and Cynthia (Cindy) Collier. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Pastor Bryce Smithee officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Shuffit, Bob Stark, Billy Hamby, Duane Motes, Joesph Motes & Adam Motes. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
