Ricky L. Harrison, son of the late James (J.R.) Harrison and Pauline Johnson Harrison was born on Wednesday, August 12, 1959, in Gideon, MO and departed this life on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti at the age of 65 years 5 months 26 days. Ricky L. Harrison was employed with Greenbrier Company of Kennett. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. On October 9, 2015, in Caruthersville, MO he was united in marriage to Hope Ogden. She survives of their home in Kennett. Other survivors include children, Josh & Kristen of Caruthersville, MO, John Daniel & Ashley Swims of Kennett, MO, William Hatton of New York, New York, Dusty & Dillon Swindle of Paragould, AR; siblings, Larry & the late Linda Harrison of Clarkton, MO, Ronnie & Toni Harrison of Malden, MO, the late Mark & Patricia Bailey of Clarkton, MO, Debbie & the late Alva (Peanut) Shirley of Kennett, the late James Harrison of Clarkton, MO, the late Jimmy Harrison of Wappapello, MO, Philip & Tina Harrison of Jackson, MO, Phyllis & Mark Carnell of Kennett, MO, Scott & Julie Harrison of Clarkton, MO; grandchildren, Katen, Noah, Elly, Jackson, Amelia, Nathan, & Henry Swims of Caruthersville, MO, Jaxsten, Melanie & Kylie Swims of Kennett, MO, Ryker, Amelia & Iris Swindle of Paragould, AR, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will be Monday, February 10, 2025, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, MO. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
