Richard Lynn Metcalf, son of Shirley Lebo Metcalf and the late Ronald Metcalf, was born on Saturday, June 29, 1969, in Red Bud, IL and departed this life on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis at the age of 52 years, 11 months and 13 days. Survivors include sons, Andrew Metcalf of Phoenix, AZ, Jullian Metcalf of Kennett, Dawson Metcalf of Nashville, IL; daughter, Alyssa Metcalf of Phoenix, AZ; mother, Shirley Metcalf of Kennett; brother, Ronald Metcalf of Woodlawn, IL; sister, Rhonda Jamison of Texas; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Robert Metcalf. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Doug Clinton officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
