Rev. Phillip Bartholomew

Rev. Phillip Bartholomew, son of the late John Henry Bartholomew and Jeannett Lois Stallin Bartholomew, was born on Monday, July 30, 1962, in St. Louis, MO and departed this life on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Willard Care Center in Willard, MO at the age of 62 years 8 months 14 days. Rev. Phillip Bartholomew was a dedicated servant of the Lord having pastored the Holcomb Community Worship Center for approximately 20 years and the O'Keena Assembly Church of Bragg City for 10 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. On September 5, 1981, in Malden he was united in marriage to Kathy Barkley. She survives of their home. Other survivors include son, Nathaniel Bartholomew & wife, Angel of Holcomb; daughter, Kayla White & husband, Hardy of Branson, MO; six grandchildren, Skyler Graves, Wyatt White, Katie Gath, Andrew White, Kadon & Ryder Bartholomew, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Elmer, Kenny, Earnest Michael, & James Henry Bartholomew & a sister, Mary Street. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Brother David Henderson officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemtery in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
