View Funeral Webcast Retha Groves, daughter of Offie Jane Willard and the late Jessie Laden, was born on Tuesday, April 22, 1969, in Kennett and departed this life on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at her residence in Kennett at the age of 54 years and 21 days. Survivors include three sons, Jeff Laden & his wife, Kristy of Kennett, Trask Laden & his wife, Jessica of Kennett, Roland Tijerina of Jonesboro, AR; mother, Offie Jane Willard of Kennett; sisters, Dollie Laden & Gracie Midkiff, both of Kennett; grandchildren, Chase, Levi, Jaelyn, Kenadee, Jeffery, Hunter, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Andres Tijerina, father, Jessie Laden, brothers, Lonnie Orr and Jessie Laden, step-father, Fred Willard and former husband, Rick Groves, who was the father figure to her four sons. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Johnny Bogle officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
