Reta Hipps, daughter of the late Charles Mings and Elizabeth Jones Mings, was born on Wednesday, June 27, 1956, in Terrell, TX and departed this life on Thursday, August 10, 2022, at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 66 years, 1 month and 14 days. She was united in marriage to Oscar Hipps. He preceded her in death in 2006. Reta was a retired seamstress having worked at a sewing machine factory in Aiken, SC for many years. Survivors include a son, Riley Hipps & Eyvonne Jenkins of Kennett; a grandson, Landon Thomas of Gosnell; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Bobbie Gibbons and Glenda Swinney and a brother, Weldon Moore. Memorial Service is being planned for a later date. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
