Raymond Purtee

Raymond Purtee, a resident of Kennett, was born on Wednesday, October 19, 1960, in Los Angeles, CA and departed this life on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Campbell Healthcare & Senior Living at the age of 63 years 3 months 24 days. Raymond had many occupations but mostly worked in construction and roofing. He was considered a jack of all trades by his family and friends. He loved watching western movies, going fishing, making people smile, getting together with family and friends for a BBQ, riding around in his golf cart with his dog, Butch, but most of all he loved the Lord. Family was important to Raymond. He and his wife, Renae enjoyed 25 years together. He always made sure she was content. Survivors include his wife, Renae Milton-Purtee; sons, Adam Purtee & his wife, Candace, Scott Ramey; daughters, Jacqueline Raspberry & her husband, Payton, Andrea Miller & Chris Johnson, Savannah Ramey; brother, Gary Simmons; grandchildren, Noah Bailey, Damon Bailey, Carol Bailey, Kaylee Ramey, Layla Ramey; great-grandchildren, Soliana & Jeriah, other relatives and many friends. A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
