Ray LeeVaughn Greene, son of the late Rev. Laurel Lawrence Greene and Lessie Odell Pullman Greene, was born on Sunday, June 28, 1936 in Wenasoga, Mississippi and departed this life on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at Malden Nursing & Rehab in Malden at the age of 84 years, 4 months and 12 days. On September 17, 1956, he was united in marriage to Joyce Myricks. She preceded him in death on March 12, 2020. Survivors include a son, Randy Greene of Parma; a daughter, Kathy Lynn Kovacs of Baton Runge, LA; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Fay Devon Greene of Bernie; sisters, Laura Jane Terrill of Malden, Louise Ross of Columbia; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joyce, a brother and 4 sisters. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
