Peggy Jean Clewis

View Funeral Webcast Peggy Jean Clewis, daughter of the late Earnest Goff and Edith Martin Goff, was born on Friday, November 21, 1941, and departed this life on Monday, November 21, 2022, at her residence in Rives at the age of 81 years. Peggy Jean Clewis was a retired employee of National Health Care in Kennett and a member of Bakerville Church of Christ. She was united in marriage to David Garrison Clewis in December of 1960 in Georgia. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2020. Survivors include two daughters, Marcia Lashell Morris and her husband, Brian of New Port Richey, FL and Vicki Lynn Prickett and her husband, Darin of Lutz. FL; grandchildren, Ashley Kaye Carter, Zachary Hiram Kelley and his wife, Miranda, Cody James Prickett and his wife, Stephanie, Ryan Alan Prickett; great-grandchildren, Devon Nathaniel Thomas, Jason Fredrick Carter, Jillian Bella Jones; sisters, Anna Jerry Greene of Hanover, PA, Vicki Powell of Jonesboro, AR, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Garrison Clewis, brother, Elbert Goff and sisters, Joyce Marie Goff and Julia Ann Goff. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until time of service. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
