Patsy Ann James, daughter of the late Joseph Barnes Mosley and Stella Reed Mosley, was born on Saturday, October 7, 1939, in Blytheville, Arkansas and departed this life on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Piggott HealthCare & Senior Living in Piggott, Arkansas at the age of 86 years 3 months 17 days.

Patsy was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.  She was a retired custodian with Arkansas Northeastern College in Blytheville, Arkansas.

She was united in marriage to Willie Ray James.  He preceded her in death on March 18, 2004.

Survivors include two sons, Steve Prichett of Kennett, Missouri, Randall James of Hot Springs, Arkansas; a daughter, Tambra Speer & husband, Josh of Pollard, Arkansas, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willie Ray James, sons, Teddy Pritchett & James Charles Allen, brothers, Grover Mosley, J. W. Mosley & Raymond Mosley and sisters, Freda Lloyd, Gladys Sipes, & Carman Webster.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service.  Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.

Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
