Pamela Gean Turnbow

Pamela Gean Turnbow, daughter of the late J. M. Hawkins and Bettye Walker Hawkins, was born on Saturday, June 16, 1956, in Gideon and departed this life on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at her residence in Clarkton at the age of 66 years, 4 months and 30 days. Pamela Gean Turnbow had worked as a registered nurse at Senath Nursing Center and was a substitute teacher in northeast Arkansas. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. On August 31, 1978, in Jonesboro she was united in marriage to Jackie Ray Turnbow. He proceeded her in death on May 22, 2021. Survivors include a son, Billy Turnbow of Clarkton; a daughter, Chelsea Sutton of Malden; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother, Steve Hawkins of Malden, other relatives and many friends. No service is being planned at this time. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
