Pamela Sargent Michel

Pamela Sargent Michel, daughter of the late Willard Paul Sargent and Opal Milburn Sargent, was born on Monday, December 18, 1950, in Kennett and departed this life on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, KY at the age of 72 years, 7 months and 15 days. Mrs. Michel, a resident of Owensboro, KY, was a 1968 graduate of Hayti High School and a 1972 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University where she was an active member of Tri Delta Sorority. She received her Masters Degree in English K-8 and reading at Murray State University. She is survived by two sons, Robert Joseph Michel of Paducah, Kentucky and Benno John Michel of Scottsdale, Arizona; daughter, Elisabeth Jane Michel of Scottsdale, Arizona; two grandsons, Jack and Max Michel, both of Scottsdale, and a sister, Barbara Sargent Stone of Highland, Illinois, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Opal Sargent, and two brothers, Gary Paul Sargent, and Jerry Kenneth Sargent. Graveside Services were held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
