View Funeral Webcast Norma Lois Taylor, daughter of the late Henry Murrell and Mary Manning Murrell, was born Friday, January 5, 1934, in Gideon, Missouri and departed this life on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould at the age of 87 years, 11 months and 9 days. Norma Lois Taylor was a supervisor with Ely-Walker Shirt Factory in Kennett. She was a member of the Living Word Tabernacle in Gibson, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Billy Wayne Taylor, Sr. in January of 1951. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1996. Survivors include sons, Billy Wayne "Chip" Taylor, Jr. & his wife, Teresa of White Oak, Johnny Taylor & his wife, Carolyn of Houston, TX; daughters, Sharon Drew of Senath, Joanna Sherfield of Kennett, Kathie Gipson & her husband, Kenny of Senath; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Don Murrell of Hayti, Terry Murrell & his wife, Janet of Cardwell, Joe Murrell & his wife, Yolie of Texas; sisters, Delores Reher of Virginia, Kaye Neal & her husband, Don of Alabama; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, J.C., Dwight, Jimmy, Carroll, Michael, David Murrell; sister, Wilma McHost. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Bill Ivy officiating. Visitation will begin there at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
