Michael Parr

Gary Michael Parr, son of Judy Clevenger Parr and the late Gary Ronald Parr, was born on Wednesday, June 28, 1961, in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 64 years 10 months 11 days.

Michael had worked as a hairstylist for many years.

His survivors include his mother, Judy Parr of Kennett, Missouri; his sister, Susan Pinkerton & her husband, Nathan; two nephews, Christian Abbott of Dexter, Missouri, Parr Abbott & his wife, Randi of New Martinsville, West Virginia; two great-nephews, Christian Abbott & Memphis Abbott; one great-niece, Adeline Abbott, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Parr.

No services are planned at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kennett Swim Team in care of Julie Lack or to the Kennett High School Basketball Team in care of Seth McBroom.
