Michael Lynn Hobbs

Michael Lynn Hobbs, son of the late J. B. Hobbs and Anna Myers Hobbs was born on Sunday, February 3, 1963, in Kennett, MO and departed this life on Monday, June 9, 2025, at his residence in Piggott, AR at the age of 62 years 4 months 6 days. Michael was an employee of St. Bernards Behavioral Health in Jonesboro. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. His survivors include two sisters, Carolyn Woods of Wappapello, MO, Esther Whitehead & husband, Tim of Wappapello, MO; three nephews, Paul Morris & wife, Alicia of Kennett, Daniel Hobbs & wife, Jennifer of Jonesboro, Jamie Hobbs & wife, Pam of Wappapello, MO; two nieces, Shannon Glover & husband, Gene of Kennett, Rhonda Hobbs of Qulin, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Hobbs and a niece, Jovitá Hobbs. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Pallbearers will be Daniel Hobbs, Braxton Lowry, Jacob Morris, Paul Morris, Garrett Lowry, Gene Glover. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
