Mervil "Cowboy" Casteel

Mervil "Cowboy" Casteel, son of the late Leonard Mervil Casteel and Ethel Marie Pankey Casteel, was born on Saturday, October 19, 1963 in Rector, AR and departed this life on Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti at the age of 56 years, 4 months and 5 days. Survivors include sons, John, Josh & Logan Casteel, all of Texas; daughters, Rashinda Casteel of Michigan and Nicole Casteel of Florida; 10+ grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Burrow of Paragould, AR, Louetta Bover of Windsor, MO, Rosetta Havner of Mountain Home, AR. Also surviving are 6 brothers, 3 sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Cowboy was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
