Melva Jean Foster

Melva Jean Foster, daughter of the late Melvin Lee Copeland and Nancy Almarea Holifield Copeland, was born on Wednesday, August 19, 1936, in Rector, Arkansas and departed this life on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott at the age of 89 years 3 months 9 days.

Jean was a retired employee of Emerson Electric in Kennett.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend.

Her survivors include her son, Randy Copeland of Kennett, Missouri; stepson, Glen Foster of Holcomb, Missouri; her brother, Quinton Lee Copeland of Rector, Arkansas; her sister, Anna Belle Robinson of Rector, Arkansas, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Billy Joe Copeland and Donald Lee Copeland.

No public services are planned at this time.
