Melissa Louise Bryan, daughter of Fannie Louise Waller Strickland and the late Marvin Dale Strickland, was born on Sunday, January 20, 1974 in Kennett and departed this life on Friday, October 23, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 46 years, 9 months and 3 days. Survivors include husband, Ronald "Rusty" Bryan of the home in Holcomb; daughter, Christyna Strickland of Holcomb; mother, Fannie Strickland of Kennett; brother, Anthony Strickland of Kennett; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Dale Strickland; grandparents, Homer & Agnes Waller, John Marvin & Mildred Strickland. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. at Lynn Oak General Baptist Church in Clarkton with Reverend Steve Watkins officiating. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett in charge of arrangements.
