Mark Wayne Parrent

View Funeral Webcast Mark Wayne Parrent, son of the late Garland Parrent and Fay Phillips Cordell, was born on Wednesday, September 14, 1960, in Kennett and departed this life on Friday, February 3, 2023, at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 20 days. Mark was a retired employee of Noranda. He enjoyed playing golf, going fishing, and playing his guitar. On November 21, 2007, in Piggott, he was united in marriage to Louwana Henderson. Survivors include his wife, Louwana Henderson Parrent, of Kennett; son, Casey Potts of Kennett; daughter, Magen Schultz of Kennett; grandchildren, Chesney Powell, Chase Cooksey, Chyla Cooksey, Saylor Schultz, Stetson Schultz, & Khara Potts; great-grandchild, Oaklynn Powell; brother, Mike Parrent of Kennett; sisters, Angie Jones & her husband, Allen of Kennett, Michelle Long & her husband, Marty 0f House Springs, MO; nieces, Allie Parrent, Bre Parrent; nephews, Cason Jones and Jason Parrent, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland Parrent and Fay Phillips Cordell and a brother, Terry Parrent. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin there at 12:00 p.m. and continue until time of service. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
