Margie Sue Chandler, the daughter of the late Reverend Hillis Creed and Lottie Mary Baker Creed, was born on Thursday, March 30, 1933 in Senath, MO and departed this life on Friday, October 18, 2019 in Paragould, AR at the age of 86 years, 6 months, and 18 days. On March 24, 1956 in Senath, MO, she was united in marriage to John Mark Chandler. He preceded her in death on August 30, 2002. Margie was an extremely talented person. She was a gifted musician and singer. She sang for many funeral services during her lifetime. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and working on the farm. She had a special love for animals. Her survivors include: daughters, Mary Williams and her husband, David of Paragould, AR, Markita Thompson and her husband, William, III of Wilson, AR; son, Fred Chandler and his wife, Christy of Senath, MO; grandchildren, Wendy Stewart of Monette, AR, Amy Reed of Jonesboro, AR, Jason Chandler of Senath, MO, Paul Kuntze of Carbondale, IL, Shane & Dustin Williams, both of Paragould, AR; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Holt of Senath, MO. Graveside Services were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett, in charge of arrangements.
