Lois Alene Floyd, daughter of the late Alexander Brock and Zephyr Sullivan Brock, was born on Saturday, August 28, 1937, in Yama, MO and departed this life on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at her son's residence in Lilbourn at the age of 85 years, 11 months and 2 days. Lois, a long-time resident of Bragg City, was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Survivors include four sons, Gary Butler of Bragg City, Lyndell Butler of Ellsinore, MO, Allan Ellenburg & his wife, Tommie of Bernie, Lucian Boggs & Sandy Moore of Lilbourn; daughter, Karen Butler of Bragg City; grandchildren, Ginger Atchison, Derrick Dye, Jazmyne Hall, Jaymeson Butler, Ariel Boggs, Jordan Ellenburg-Zoller, Dr. Caleb Ellenburg, Joshua Ellenburg, Sarah Ellenburg, Cody Boggs, Landon Boggs, Dawson Boggs, Alexis Boggs; fifteen great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Eugene Floyd, daughters, Carlene Ellenburg & Carla Dye, grandson, Dale Butler and a sister, Peggy Reed. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bragg City Baptist Church with Reverend Doug Clinton officiating. Visitation will begin there at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Serving as pallbearers will be Derrick Dye, Joshua Ellenburg, Caleb Ellenburg, Cody Boggs, Landon Boggs, Dawson Boggs, Austin Butler, Garhett Butler and Jonathan Whitfield.
