Lisa Biggs Clark, born on September 19, 1963, in Kennett, Missouri, daughter of the late Bill Biggs and Linda Grogan Biggs, passed away on January 20, 2026, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was a beloved member of her community and a cherished friend to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Lisa's remarkable career spanned several notable roles within the healthcare and education sectors. She began as a pharmaceutical sales representative in Memphis, TN, and then took on the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer of the Visiting Nurses Association of Southeast Missouri. Lisa's leadership extended to her role as the Director of Radiology at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, where she made significant contributions to patient care and facility operations. In academia, she was an enthusiastic instructor of speech and communication, initially at Three Rivers College in Polar Bluff and more recently at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. Lisa took great pride in fostering the minds of her students and imparting knowledge that extended beyond the classroom.
Lisa graduated from Kennett High School in 1981, followed by her degree from Freed-Hardeman University in 1984, and culminating in her graduate studies at the University of Memphis in 1986. Her educational pursuits reflected her lifelong commitment to learning and personal growth.
Lisa was more than her professional achievements; she was an individual of many talents and an unwavering source of support for her loved ones. She was a devoted wife to Joey and a caring mother to her two sons, Corbin Clark and Cameron Clark. In addition to being a remarkable mother, she found immense joy in being a loving grandmother to Dru Ann, Callan Michael, and Quinn Evelyn.
Lisa was an individual of deep faith, actively involved in church and community. She enjoyed hosting family and church gatherings, sharing her home and heart with others. Her ability to teach Bible classes and special ladies’ classes underscored her dedication to spiritual growth, both for herself and those around her.
In her personal life, Lisa had a passion for the outdoors, with golfing being one of her favorite pastimes, especially when competing with her husband—a competitive spirit that ensured many joyful moments together. Family vacations were always treasured times, filled with laughter and connection, made all the more meaningful by the friendships she valued dearly.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Joey; her sons, Corbin Clark and his wife, Lyndsey of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Cameron Clark and his wife, Shelby of Piggott, AR; her cherished grandchildren, Dru Ann, Callan Michael, and Quinn Evelyn; her brother, Randy Biggs of Campbell, MO; her sisters by choice, Glenda Pounds of Conway, AR, and Jeanne Tomlinson Perkins of Bragg City, MO; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby Clark and his wife, Diane of Kennett, MO; nieces and nephews, Logan Belcher and her husband, Shawn of Campbell, MO, McKenzie McKillion and her husband, Greg of Kennett, MO, Will Biggs, III of Campbell, MO, Gavin Biggs of Campbell, MO, Chloe Biggs of Campbell, MO, Seth Bolin of Campbell, MO, Jeff Clark and his wife, Tiffany of Kennett, MO, Bobby Clark, Jr. and his wife, Inger of St. Louis, MO, and great-nephew Cody Clark of St. Louis, MO, other relatives and many friends.
Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Bill Biggs and Linda Grogan Biggs.
Her memory will be honored through visitation at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett, MO, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the funeral chapel. Lisa will be laid to rest at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, MO.
