View Funeral Webcast Linda Louise Thompson, daughter of the late William and Willie Stroud, was born on Friday, November 28, 1947, in Brookfield, MO and departed this life on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at her residence in Holcomb at the age of 75 years10 months 28 days. On July 24, 1965, she was united in marriage to Gerald Floyd Thompson. He preceded her in death on February 17, 2022. Survivors include sons, Randy Thompson & wife, Monica of Holcomb, Michael Thompson & wife, Judy of Holcomb; daughters, Rebecca Kemp of Kennett, Dianna Wright & husband, Jimmy of Kennett; sister, Carolyn Huckabee of Marceline, MO; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Bobby & Billy Stroud. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 12:00 p.m.at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
