Linda Kay Gee Gibbs passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at her Kennett residence, with her loyal canine companion Cooper by her side. She was 70 years old. Linda was born on August 8, 1952, to Aubrey Gee, Jr. and Patsy Walker Gee Regan in Montgomery, Alabama. She was the eldest of seven children. She was the loving mother of one child and grandmother of five. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie (Kevin) Asher of Wasilla, Alaska; grandchildren Gaige Philpot, Lindsey Philpot, Curt Asher, Ella Asher and Ethan Asher; sisters Donna (Harold) Cluck of Dexter and Kathy Blue of Kennett; brothers Aubrey (Gwen) Gee of Bernie and Johnny Gee of Poplar Bluff; two aunts and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bobby Gee, and sister Dianna Trammell. Linda had a beautiful soul and a keen sense of humor. She was a kind and giving person who enjoyed cooking, gardening, music and movies. She had a fierce passion for animals and was a devoted advocate for animal rights. She rescued and cared for many dogs and cats in her lifetime. A celebration of life is to be planned in the future.
