Linda Marie Collis, daughter of Louise Smedley Smart and the late Everett H. Smart, was born on Wednesday, July 31, 1963, in Gideon and departed this life on Friday, April 7, 2023, at Gideon Care Center in Gideon at the age of 59 years, 8 months and 7 days. Linda Marie Collis was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Collis of Gideon; mother, Louise Smart of Clarkton; two daughters, Jessica Cambra of Gideon, Tashia Collis of Clarkton; four grandchildren; two brothers, James Smart of Clarkton, Kevin Smart of Gideon; sister, Beverly Reeves of Clarkton, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Everett H. Smart; two brothers, Everett Smart, Jr. and Virgil "Doc" Smart and a sister, Carolyn Smart Williams. No service is being planned at this time.
