Linda Sue Casteel

Linda Sue Casteel, daughter of the late Alton Mallett and Vivia Harris Mallett, was born on Monday, June 27, 1949 and departed this life on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at the age of 70 years, 8 months and 5 days. She was a homemaker. Her survivors include: daughters, Marietta Haywood & Lillian Stevens, both of Kennett; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Mallett of Little Rock, AR & Ricky Mallett of Kennett; sisters, Vicki Mallett of Little Rock, AR & Shirley Mallett of Poplar Bluff; also surviving are other relatives and many friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Royce Lee Southerland, Sr. & Tony Southerland; grandson, Royce Lee Southerland, Jr. & several brothers. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Kenny Burns officiating.  Burial will be in the Senath Cemetery in Senath.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Sunday.
