Laymon S. "Joey" Bishop, Jr., son of the late Laymon S. Bishop, Sr. and Virginia Dare Tipton, was born on Monday, September 2, 1963 in Cahokia, IL and departed this life on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Senath South Health Care Center in Senath at the age of 58 years, 2 months and 8 days. Laymon S. "Joey" Bishop, Jr. was formerly of Poplar Bluff, MO. Survivors include brothers, Wayne Bishop of Linn, MO, D. L. Bishop of Linn, MO, Leonard Bishop of O'Fallon, MO, John Fuller of Poplar Bluff, MO; sisters, Kelcy Bishop Light of O'Fallon, MO, Lisa Bishop Sprouse of Rolla, MO, Janet Fuller Cobb of Broseley, MO; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Melvin, Jerry & Eugene Bishop and a sister, Regina Bishop Reed. Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
