Larry Wardron East

Larry Wardron East, son of the late Jack Wardron and Mary Blazier Wardron, was born on Thursday, December 12, 1946, in Kennett and departed this life on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at his residence in Kennett at the age of 76 years 9 months 8 days. Larry was employed as a maintenance worker for an apartment complex prior to his retirement. Survivors include a brother, Bobby Wardron of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Linda Adams & husband, Donald of Kennett; four nieces, Angela Minyard of Kennett, Carla Avants of Kennett, Jody Blevins of Cape Girardeau, Carolyn Jones of North Carolina; 3 great-nephews, 2 great-nieces, other relatives and many friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Connie Gene "Jim" East, and a great nephew Tyler Scott Stone Graveside Services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
