Kinnie Gene Allen

Kinnie Gene Allen, son of Kennie Allen and Evelyn Cates Allen, was born on Sunday, February 20, 1966, in Waynesboro, TN and departed this life on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton at the age of 56 years and 27 days. Survivors include son, Kenneth Andrew Allen of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Amanda Miller & her husband, Levin of Malden; grandchildren, Waylon Hankins & Ellie Miller; father and mother, Kennie & Evelyn Allen of Malden; brother, Bob Allen of Malden; companion, Vonda Melton Samples of Gideon; Vonda's son, Tyler Samples of Kennett; Vonda's granddaughter, Parker Samples; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly Miller. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Brandon Gough officiating. Visitation will begin there at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Clarkton. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
