Kimberley Renee Brooks Higgins

Kimberley Renee Brooks Higgins, daughter of the late Lee and Jane Brooks, was born on Monday, February 25, 1963, in Kennett and departed this life on Monday, January 22, 2024, at her home in Kennett. Survivors include daughter, Leah Jo (Aaron) Waynick of Kennett; son, Jed Johnson of Jackson; granddaughters, Ella Kate Waynick, Emry Lynn Waynick, Jalynn Johnson; sisters, Becky (Tim) Crawford of Kennett, Donna Brooks Crosskno of Kennett; a host of nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mike Brooks. Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin at 1:00p.m. and continue until the time of service. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
