Kerry Joe Vandyke

Kerry Joe Vandyke, son of the late Jimmy Vandyke and Lorrelle Blankenship Vandyke, was born on Monday, November 15, 1948, and departed this life on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the Green River Medical Center in Blytheville at the age of 73 years, 1 month and 20 days. He was a truck dispatcher. Survivors include son, Lane Vandyke of Armorel, AR; daughters, Carrie Blankenship & her husband, Everett of Steele, Kim Baxter & her husband, Joe Ben of Steele, Kandi Hendershot of Caruthersville; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Steve Vandyke of Steele, Bruce Vandyke of Steele, James Vandyke of Cooter, Don Vandyke of Cooter, Mike Vandyke of Pea Ridge, AR; sister, Lori Johnson of Prescott, AR; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dennis Vandyke. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mitchell #8 Cemetery in Cooter. Burial will follow in Mitchell #8 Cemetery in Cooter. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
