Kenneth George Bower, son of the late Paul Bower and Sally Matilda Severt Bower, was born on Wednesday, April 25, 1945, in Wyco, West Virginia and departed this life on Thursday, April 3, 1945, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti at the age of 79 years 11 months 9 days. Ken was owner of Kennett Cablevision from 1970 until 2019 and was a United States Air Force veteran. On December 19, 1969, he was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Bracken. She survives of their home in Kennett. Other survivors include two daughters, Susan Hare & her husband, Chris of Hernando, MS, Kelly Bower of Kennett; grandson, Christian Bower of Hernando, MS, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will be in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, AR. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
